The Welcome Reception of the ETC ’15 will take place in the main hall of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). BME has been regarded as Hungary’s leading technical higher education institution for the past 240 years. The institution greatly impacted Hungarian his- tory, which peaked in 1956 when the revolution against the communist regime started within its walls.
The Welcome reception will provide participants with an opportunity to become familiar with the buildings and the rich history of BME and hear the warm welcome speech- es of the organizers of ETC ‘15, while at the same time it will provide an excellent opportunity to socialize with old friends and colleagues over a glass of wine and some snacks in the heart of Budapest.

The Conference Gala Dinner will be held at The Academy Club, in the historical building of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, on Thursday, April 27. at 19:30.
Besides being a symbol of science and national freedom, this Neo-Renaissance palace provides an excellent view of some of Budapest’s top attractions.
The guests of the Gala Dinners might enjoy a four-course meal served with Hungarian wine.
